German coin ?

I believe this to be a German coin.
One from their "Stadt" or "Laender"
I cannot find the coat of arms anywhere.
Can anybody help ?

    It could also be a fantasy.

    According to the Petra-Sancta hatching pattern, the colours on the shield on your coin are white on the left, purple on the right. Purple isn't a common colour; I can't recall any of the states of Germany or Switzerland with that white-and-purple layout.

    It's a Frankfurt "Judenpfennig" and listed in Krause as KM#Tn5. Mintage unknown and priced as follows:

    F $4
    VF $8
    XF $16
    Unc $30

    Prices are a little low. I collect Frankfurt and have seen this type before.3Mark
