newer photos below - including animated GIFS to show luster or surfaces of 4 better items, those may be slow to load

    - - - - - - - plus some items that don't have auction photos or PCGS TrueViews; most of the rest are linked in the email
Full info and descriptions are in the email of all items

    ---

    .
    .

    1801 PCGS AU-55

    .
    1801 $10 Edge 9 to 11 o'clock Reeded Edge in this section.

    .
1801 $10 Edge 1 to 3 o'clock Plain Edge with original planchet cut look. A few weak reeds at the right before fading out towards the left.

    .
1801 $10 Edge 5 to 7 o'clock with reeds, having rounded tops, getting shorter from right to left until gone. As if the device creating the reeding is bending away from parallel to the edge. May have relevance as to whether early coins used a collar for reeding or were reeded separate from striking.

    .
Photos from raw Nov 1986 auction appearance at Bowers and Merena recently chanced across

    .
    .
1794 1c Head of 1794 XF Detail - I would say AU sharpness

    .
    .

1862 50c PCGS MS-63 rattler - never been to CAC, I call 64+ - could go CAC gold, at least green
    - - - surfaces look smoother in-person, scuffy holder causes the images to give a false impression of marks or hairlines on coin other than that mentioned in the email

    .
    .

1808 50c PCGS XF-45 - never been to CAC, I call it AU-50/53 - could go CAC gold, at least green

    .
    .

    1855 1c PCGS MS-64 BN CAC

    .
    .

    1888 1c PCGS AU-58 RPD FS-302 S-2 formerly (FS-010.7) - once thought to be an 8 over 7

    .
    .

    1902 1c S-4 FS-401 Eye Die Gouge PCGS Genuine holder -
I strongly disagree with "NOT GRADABLE" - didn't bother sending again

    .
    .

    1912-D 1c PCGS-63BN CAC

    .
    .

raw 1854-O 10c Fortin 102 shattered obverse - left raw due to small rim bump under date and looks neater raw
    - - - could not get color right; looks more natural grey than photos; first photo is head-on to highlight detail

    .
    .

1897-O 25c PCGS AU-58 - never been to CAC but don't think it is likely to pass due to darker obverse

    .
    .

1818 50c PCGS XF-45 - never been to CAC, but not sure it is worth it

    .
    .

    1868 3c Pattern Judd-615 PCGS Proof VF-25 - a pocket piece or maybe circulated as a 3c

    .
    .

First of 2 Doily PCGS holdered Franklin Halves - worth around 400 each

    .
    .
