Some Austrian and Russian Pieces

I picked these up just for the images, I don't really collect these as a series and they aren't worth a lot of money, I just liked them for one reason or the other. The Austrian pieces came from Cameron K.

Does any one else buy random pieces just for the images? Or am I the only one without a shred of self control?

Man, that Russkie piece is SWEET- nice design! That's my kind of "modern crap", for sure! image

The Austrian 10-schillings of that type I have always called "chickenhead ladies" or "Henny Pennies", because the lady's bonnet looks like there is a chicken sitting on her head! image

All very nice. I was hoping to see some fat old crusty thalers from the 16th and 17th centuries, but if I am gonna look at moderns, let 'em be stuff like this!
