Copper cent question

O.k. So, I have a 1916 IMHO 64- RB and it has an obverse spot- Not verdigris but a spot... Then I have 6 VDB's 4 of which are true red and the other 2 are RB but 5 of the 6 have fingerprints or spots- My question
I have a very good 100% Evtra Virgin Olive Oil- Are there chances that a soak in this olive oil will turn my red cents brown? Are there any adverse reactions I should watch for? Should I put them all in separate vessels or is it ok to soack them together completely submerged but not touching?
Any feedback is appreciated...

I'd try only pure acetone before anything else.
Added: Try anything on a coin with no value then only try one of your worst coins before doing others.
Also don't expect either to remove spots or fingerprints, they only remove gunk.
...i agree with steve27

Definitely a good tip
<< <i>The oil (either type) will not change the color of your coin, but the fingerprints are etched into the surface and the spots are forever, so don't waste your time. >>
Steve27 is correct - about the best you could hope for is removing any PVC, grease or grime build-up in the protected areas of the devices. Like diamonds, fingerprints are forever.
