No--this thread isn't about mixed martial arts (mma) or such..Instead I was wondering where online is the best place to buy the 2-1/2*2-1/2 mylar flips that PCGS wants raw submissions sent inside? I am preparing my first group of 8 coins that I want graded but only have flips in 2*2 form. Thank you much-Jon

Otherwise, there is a product called Saf-T-Flip which comes in 2.5x2.5 sizes. I order them from Brent Krueger.

<< <i>If I recall correctly, I think you can order these directly from PCGS.

You can reach the PCGS customer service department Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm Pacific Time.
In the United States call toll free at 800-447-8848. Outside the United States call 949-833-0600
They do sell the 2.5X2.5 flips, they also sell convenient rolls of stickers that are a nice length to use for the labeling of the flip as well as boxes for shipping. All at what I found to be reasonable prices. The boxes are simular to the boxes used to store baseball cards.
I have also ordered the flips from Brooklyn Coin Gallery, which has a wide variety of coin supplies and books.

If your coins are small (quarter size or less) the 2x2s are fine, and PCGS will accept them. With larger coins (half dollars, silver dollars) I prefer the larger 2.5x2.5, as there is less chance of the coin being scratched or mishandled with the larger flip.
While at shows, I make a point to snag a modest handful of the 2.5 x 2.5's at the submissions table, and pocket a few for later submission use.
But if you are doing enough submissions volume that you think you'll need the bigger flips (they're also nice for world crowns and big tokens and medals, after all), then you can find them at Brent Krueger or Brooklyn Gallery online.
My pet theory (which could be totally wrong) is that they want you to use the bigger flips because they make it easier to slide the coin in and out of with less handling (?)
