Profitable Ebay Purchase

Its not ofter I get more thanI hope for.

I bought a 9 mexico coin lot on ebay for 22.00 last week. I saw in the photos one of the "mexico" coins appeared to be a 1780 thaler. the other eight .100 silver mexico 1 pesos.

well they arrived today and there were 7 .100 silver pesos, a 1957 .4178 oz silver peso and a Dcam thaler.

the thaler is truly beautiful I might even send it in to be slabbed.

    Gene is right. While beautiful and quite historic, the thaler is a modern restrike and worth silver melt value basically; more than the cost of slabbing.

    yea i knew it was a restricke but it was a nice mirror image on it. most others i see are dirty. Still a nice chunk of silver for $20.
