Why was he signed as a Backup QB? Im not sure there has ever been a guy who has made as much money as this kid without ever doing a thing.

    Because the Lions love QBs with the first name Drew, plus Drew #1 is injured. Seriously though there was talk on the sports radio here that the Lions were interested in originally drafting him. But that would have not panned out!!
