Which of these Ichiro cards is most desirous?

I'm looking for a signed Ichiro for my rookie collection and these two are available. In general, which one of these issues is most desired by collectors. Is one harder to get than the other? Do they have a book value for the unsigned ones? Would it be better to get a 2001 signed Ichiro or one of these from 1993? Are these really from Japan or are they American issues?

By far, it would be much better to get a 2001 Upper Deck certified auto.

I don't know how much product Tomy sells in the baseball card arena in Japan, but I know BBM is all over the place there and has been for decades. They are the Topps of Japan, basically (except they never used crunky card stock).

Have you notice he signed those two cards differently, that means he has two different styles of handwriting, remember that.

for my collection, I might take one of these instead of a 2001 upper deck card. At least this will be a neat conversation piece, it's an earlier card, and I think they are pretty cool.
