IMO The Britannias are one of the most beautiful and artistically designed modern coinage... hard to say about most moderns.

Man, those are lovely.

And Mark Goodman sucks. I couldn't begin to produce photos like that.

I have resorted to using both scans AND photos, in the hopes that two semi-sucky pictures equal one good one.

Britannia's are a great bullion series to collect. My pocket book prefers the silver version tho.
The hardest part is finding the back date proofs at a resonable price.

Post 7000: I have the proof quarter ounce gold of all 5 designs by Philip Nathan (cosmicdebris provenance).

I do not care much for the post-Nathan designs (2007-2008).
