Every time I see Geronimo it reminds me back in '79 when I asked him for an autograph outside the Vet in Philadelphia before a game. He signed it "C.G."

Edit to add: That was not a shot at Davis. Met him at a card show in about 1988 or so. Was one of the nicest people I ever met. Of course I was a dumb kid that was just in awe of any Major Leaguer.

It was the induction to the Reds HOF, Davis is in the Reds HOF.
