  • Are you 10 years old or just partially illiterate? Please learn how to spell at least half the names before typing. BTW, love how you edited the message but still spelled most of the names wrong.

<< <i>.......i had 2 heart surgeries and am disabled and on strong meds....... >>

He posted that at 4:23 EST today, but at 11:43 AM EST this morning in this thread it was 3 heart surgeries. Somewhere in the last 4 hours 1 of the surgeries must have worn off.

I think LSU is frustrated at the number of people who come on here new pretending to be something they're not.

He called you out for terrible spelling. He's right. If you have a card in front of you, how can you be so careless/sloppy/stupid to get it wrong?

You say you are 48 but you type like you are 15. Using "u" and "i" and careless spelling are traits that usually point to a certain age group that you claim to be not in.

I've also had 2 heart surgeries and yet I still work and can spell and type.

Nick, it's the meds. I often forgot how many surgeries I had been through when I was on the meds also. You should have seen me trying to deliver mail!

For you Jim, I'd take half your bag full, and do all the even numbered houses for you, just so you didn't have to cross the street.
  • I also used to be a drug addict and couldn't count, spell or type when I was on my meds.
  • Now it is getting deep. Back to 3 heart problems. Been in the hospital each of the last ten months and flatlined 6 times. Anything else?

I honestly wish you well in your recovery, but you do not need to get up to check your spelling.

What Flintboy said. Those of us regulars here are accustomed to friendly banter, but for crying out loud show some respect.

  • RB, no offense but did you actually look at his posts? First he said he had 3 heart surgeries. Then it dropped to 2. He says he has been in the hospital at one time or another for each of the last 10 months. He flatlined 6 times in less than a year. Has to be some kind of Guiness record. All this at the age of 48. Says he has no idea how to use his scanner but in his first thread here he posted pics of cards he scanned. Also says he knows little about cards but seems to know all the key players. His childish typos that he blames on his eye sight and physical condition are only on the public forum. He sent me two long PM's that had very few, if any, typos or punctuation errors. He also claimed in a PM to know nothing about grading but on this thread claims to have an account with PSA which he said he was cancelling.

I am not trying to act like the board police but there is just too much that doesn't seem right. If by some chance, and I doubt very seriously it is possible, that he is actually telling the truth, then I sincerely apologize and wish him the best.

This is a collectibles board. Everyone needs to leave it alone and give the guy the benefit of the doubt in regards to his health. My mother died of a heart attack on a Continental Airlines flight over Billings, MT on Nov. 15, 2006. It was a horrific event. My wife's ex husband questioned it and told my wife that he basically needed proof. He even had the giant balls to ask me for the coroners number in Billings. I wish I was lying and wanted to seriously kick his ass. He was making such a big deal because the kids were going to New York with us. We have custody of the kids even. image
  • My last post on this. Here is the PM he sent regarding the Staubach card I tried to help him with.

<< <i>I have scanned that card 4 times and cant seem to get them to show. Is there a trick to doing that? i just cant seem to get them to show. Is it because they are white or what? Any tips would help i have never done this and I have 25,000 cards to sell , lol, may have to try another way. >>

  • Do you want to sell the lot?

It seems to me that if you are feeling not all there due to the medications that you are taking, it would be a really poor time to try to sell a collection of valuable cards. At the very least, you should get someone you trust to help you sell these items so that you don't get taken advantage of.

That's my positive spin on this. My gut tells me that something else is going on here though.
