I'm I missing something? What's up with Tony Gwynn?

Just looking to buy a nicely centered PSA 9 Topps rookie of his...bid a few up to or around 30-35 (what I thought was the going rate) then these?

Absolutely! I guess you're forgetting about Tony's outstanding college basketball career at Michigan, where he won a national title in 89. And his successful NBA career, where he was a long distance threat for many years.

  • The seller of the first auction is actually a regular poster here. The second one is being bid up by some loyal BGS fans because the card is half a point from a 9.5.

I love how the seller in the BGS auction threw in a bunch of popular key words at the end of his item description. what a tool
  • I think those bids are OK based on there grades. I had Tony sign his 1991 Studio card I wonder what that would go for...I say, $ High since its the only Gywnn card with his sig; becomes a 1/1 then.

it's actually 1 point from a 9.5 you would need .5 on two more subgrades for a gem.
  • whats up with Tony Gwynn? his girth!

Someone sign him up for Jenny Craig!

Be patient and you will find one within your price range. There's more than enough 1983 topps stuff to last
the hobby for a very long time.

I love the 1983 topps set.
