What do you think of this? I won this auction. I have never seen one of these before.

First time I've seen any sold in a roll before. Perhaps you might find you're elusive 66 in there Don.
Having said that it would be kind of a shame to tear the roll open.

I guess the 'Shroom's Churchill Crown fascination is akin to my Holey Coin Madness... something contrarian, just to be different.

Seriously, thogh, I'll be the first to applaud if he makes a 66 on one at PCGS. (I'll be applauding, but not bidding, LOL)

Well, it is not my favorite coin either, but I actually think it has a kind of appeal. Maybe in sterling it would have been better! I like the matte specimen. Also, don't bite the messenger (the coin) as the subject was not exactly the most handsome of fellows.

Actually, I do not dislike them, and there are far uglier modern world coins out there (some Belgian and Israeli issues come to mind).

Edit to add: besides, the Churchills are from my birthyear. image

    So are these bank-wrapped?

Tell us what the coins look like when they arrive.
