Hey everyone! I know I know. Ginter's not even close to being done yet. BUT, before the post-Ginter blues set in, I'm just curious what we will all be looking forward to in the coming months until next July? Winter has some harsh months. Especially if you live in a blizzard zone and can't get out. So, let's prepare ahead of time what we are going to do this winter after Ginter has worn off.

So, what are you looking the most forward to ripping open this winter? Also, this might be a good place to get some word out about some "wants" before our Christmas exchange this year.

I plan to re-shift my focus, as usual, to seeking out random Nolan Ryan cards. I'll buy the random pack or blaster of whatever looks appealing, but my card-splurging habits begin and end with Allen & Ginter. Once the retail side dries up, that's pretty much it for me. I hope to spend the winter and spring working and stockpiling money, assuming I can land a freakin' job already, so I can spend a little more on next year's A&G...

... that also assumes Topps doesn't mess up the set by including even more cards of fake players and turn me off to the whole concept. I gotta admit, with sets from 2006-2008, it's not like I don't have plenty of A&G to gawk at.

... Aaaaand, I'll be checking eBay in the spring to see what the going rate on a set of those blasted "Team Orange" cards is. They're way overvalued now, and I've gotta think they'll be rock bottom by then. The last two years, the prices seen on A&G minis have fallen like a rock once the post-release Honeymoon period ends. Look at how much the snakes from 2007 go for. Used to be $100 a set!
