Yankees Got Another $6.67 Million Back From Pavano Last Night :)

$40 Million per 4 years and a total of 6 wins. $40 Million/6 wins=$6.67 Million per win. To think both the Red Sox and Orioles were willing to pay Pavano more but he came to the Yankees. What could have been. image Anyway it's kind of interesting that Pudge caught him last night and both were teammates on the Marlins when they beat the Yankees in the 2003 WS. Wouldn't that be something if the Yankees catch lightening in a bottle and go on a multi-game win streak and win the division or Wild Card and knock the Red Sox out of the playoffs and Pavano is a big contributer. Pavano looked rusty at the beginning of the game but looked very good when he struck out the side later in the game.

"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."

He will probably win another start, get the fans hopes up, and then get a freak injury at home -- slip in the shower, trip over a cat, something wierd. Yankee fans know it has to end that way!
  • Right,, this time rather than bruising his buttocks he will slip in the shower and break his ding-a-ling. It wouldn't effect his Curve Ball though. image
