Do you have the mintage data for each of those issues? It might be interesting if it was compiled somewhere.
How much more palladium is there than platinum? The biggest drawback I see with palladium is that Russia controls something like 80% of the world's output.
If I had a business that had to depend on either palladium or platinum, and if platinum did the job better than palladium, I'd go with platinum. That's what the auto companies have done, because the last time that palladium was considered, Russia immediately jacked the price way high, and that was that.
Liquidity-wise, palladium just has no advantages over the other precious metals. To gain general acceptance as a store of wealth, palladium would need to be minted consistantly and economically distributed over a number of years. That just hasn't happened.
I knew it would happen.
