    You'll often find Korean cash painted, such as the one you have there. Cash coins were often painted and tied together to form a larger charm. The one you have there was once part of such a charm. Sometimes you'll find Korean cash coins with holes drilled along the rim as well so they could be tied together into a charm. I'll try to find some pictures.
