Probably a dumb question, but I still have to ask

You know those Christmas rack packs that are all over eBay? So those were packaged in the early 80's, right? I know they're not originals. So here's my dumb question. There are tons of '52 Topps Christmas racks out there....have any of these ever yielded a Mantle? Anyone ever heard of that? Just curious. (What I'm really getting at is this: Did they just put all commons and poor condition star cards in those things, or are there actually some nice pulls in them?)

I don't think they have ever yielded anything other than VG commons, with exception to the packs they put stars on top of to rake even more.

I am not sure if they were 'created' in the 80's. I thought it was much earlier then that.


But like mentioned they are repacks and contain vg/ex cards with a smattering of stars
on top.
