Well, I haven't posted on CU for a long time.
I've had exams going on and just came back from India (summer Vacation to meet relatives..etc...)
I did pretty well in my IGCSE final Year 11 exams..got 5 A* and 4 A's
Anyways, In India I made a few coin related purchases, well, money most kindly given by my parents for coins.

This is one of the coins.

Th picture is not mine, due to lack of access to the scanner and camera.
The coin purchased has a better strike than the picture.
It is a Silver octagonal 1/2 rupee of Gaurinatha Simha (1780-1796).

Is your coin the same design as the one pictured? This one appears to be an issue of Shiva Simha, 1715-1744.

DCH...It was the closest I could find that looked like my coin, I will try to get original pictures up in a few days.
