Is there such a thing as a Hawaii $1 pattern?

I went browsing on the different ebay sites and noticed something that looked odd. The seller was selling what they called an 1883 KING KALAKAUA 1 AKAHI DALA COPPER RARE PATTERN. The person doesn't look like they know what they are selling since the number minted that they quoted was for a proof, so I tried looking around.

Is there such a thing as a copper 1883 Hawaiian $1? Input appreciated

Yes, there are copper strikes....... This is NOT one of them. Cheap copy.

I realize that most of us do not have a real Hawaii dollar at home soooooooo....

Using the picture in the listing.....

Look at the king's hair detail.... comleatly different.

Compare inner denticals.... spacing is to wide.

Incomplete details........ like the Hawaiians in the coat of arms.

Right outer rope cord on the reverse wrong length.

    Would have been nice though!!!

Cool thanks!! I emailed the seller thinking it was a proof. I guess I was wrong but they replied saying that they were members of the ANA and other stuff and that they were going to send it to PCGS to put "doubters like me" to rest. Good luck to them
    This is fun! =)

This is not even as good as the Royal Hawaiian Mint things that were sold a few years ago, at least they were silver, or purported to be.
