NOTE: I never report such listings. I do report listings that are attempting to STEAL from folks. Sellers simply trying to defend themselves against EvilBAY get a free pass from me.

Thing is if he has a link to this board and suddenly gets hit with a ton of negs he might be able to get them all removed even if they are not from members of the board.
That listing will most likely be gone as it is an Ebay violation it may result in vacations for him and anyone who "buys" from him.
I tried to send an offer for $0.01 for all 23 available and got this message:
"This seller has set buyer requirements for this item and only sells to buyers who meet those requirements
You are unable to place best offer on this item because: You have bought the maximum-allowed number of this seller's items in the last 10 days. Note: If you are still interested in placing offer on this item, you may contact the seller and ask that they exempt you from any buyer requirements they have set for this item."
I won one of his auctions for $0.01 (Best Offer). Here is the response I got:
"Thank You for participating in my Free card give away. I want to send your free cards out to you right away but you forgot a step. As stated in the auction you must leave "Positive Feedback with 5 stars in all categories" before I can ship the free cards to you. Please take a moment and leave the positive feedback for me so I can ship your free cards. Thanks"
I have had a beer or two and think I will go leave him a neg.
<< <i>I only see John's neg. on card auctions ? >>
That is not John. I personally despise the man due to some nice little made up comments and personal email threats. So naturally I copied his user name but added the 2 on the end.
<< <i>I left him a neg. Sorry, I am an azz so it was required. >>
I agree that what this ebay seller is doing is wrong, but to bid on this auction, then make up a total lie on his negative feedback?? Is that ok?? Seems about as classy as the seller.

Wow, he sure made out like a bandit on that one,...NOT what a loser
What are these sanctions of which you speak? I got a whole 5.13 in Ebay bucks. Not like I care. I Would be more concerned about possble sanctions from CU -hence the lack of recent OT posts.......

How about running the risk of having your account suspended for Feedback Manipulation
Feedback left or received, including detailed seller ratings (DSRs), where the feedback’s primary value is to artificially enhance a member’s reputation rather than provide commentary and ratings on genuine transactional experience is not permitted.
Consequently, offering to sell, buy or barter feedback is not permitted. In addition, registering multiple accounts (or working with others) in order to exchange feedback to artificially increase your feedback score is not permitted.
eBay will view the recurrence of listings which are uncharacteristic of a reasonable business model to be in violation.
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

He may be doing it as an advertising tool as he already has 157 hits on the item.

To act pissy towards me because I simply questioned the possibility of an 89 UD box from BBCE being searched is pretty low class too.
