How often do you sell items on Ebay to someone that tried to double their money?

Take a look at some of this guys prices he is trying to get. One that stands out to me is the 87 Topps Ryan, and the Pro graded Banks and Mantle. I sold him the complete set of w551 for $750.00 and he now has it for $1,800. More power to him if he gets it, I just find it a little funny. Manontherock has a Rookie Banks 8 for 3gs.
Pro Graded Mantle, Banks etc etc

  • wow, is the set going for that now? i bought a few pete roses that were like 1/2 and 2/2 and i paid like almost $750 for the apir and i could not get $500 out of them. i just decided to keep them and have them graded by beckett(since the psa will not grade them. don
  • No the set is not going for that. He is also trying to sell the Polar Bear Cobb for an outrageous amount which he paid around $750.00 for. Those pro graded cards are way over graded. The prices are amusing. More power to you if you can buy cards on ebay and sell them almost triple what you paid. I don't think many people get away with doing it. I just sold another W551 complete set for $800.00 and that is an ok price.

He bought and paid for them so he is free to do what he wants with them. I don't really check to see what a buyer does with the items he purchases. I buy to flip and so can others. To put this instance in perspective, this guy has a BGS 6 Pete Rose 1978 Topps with an opening bid of $49.99

I never care about how much money somebody else collects.

I am only concerned with how much I collect.

  • I guess I never really pay attention to it when it's not in my possession anymore.

  • Good day,
So What !!! I agree with Allen, Storm, and Bidunnchi. I buy to add to my stuff or Flip, those are the only two options. So why do I care what somebody else is doing with theirs. More Power to them!!!!
