eBay rant -- Updated

How the hell can eBay remove a listing after the auction has closed? I got an email from eBay and PayPal telling me an auction I bid on was removed and I am under no obligation to buy the item. Well guess what, the auction ended yesterday and I already paid for it through PP. Are the people there complete idiots? Don't answer that, I know they are.
I can't post a link to the auction because it was removed by those idiots.

The seller said eBay ended the listing because it had 'Certified' in the title. But why end the auction AFTER it closed? Crazy.

I paid for the auction with paypal -the next day ebay naru's the seller and the auction is totally deleted from the ebay website. This is a wrong move by ebay especially when they know you have paid with paypal...I got lucky--paypal got my money back from the seller. But this takes time and it should not take any time at all in a case where they shut down the auction.
Then i got even luckier--The seller sent me the coins and i got them the day after i got my refund.A really weird situation--I then repaid for the coins. The seller has since been re-instated to ebay. I got a great deal on the coins so i was pleased.
Ebay has every right to shut down auctions for whatever reason they want but they should not delete the auctions from the website until a certain amount of time has passed. Shut down the auctions-yes--But delete them totally from the website-NO..... JMO. Bob
