OT ........but Help me chose a title..WINNER POSTED

I pickrd the other winner......

Dork Girl....... PM me your mailing address please.

WOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo HOoooooooooooooooo..............

I got my title changed! Carol J helped me very fast!

I have all the remaining names written out and will pick the next winner soon........tomorrow my time ........sorry all

Like a dummy I posted the winner in a reply at the end of this thread.........DUH........

The winner is Tonyhar

Tony, please PM me your mail address

I am not sure that with the recent changes in the forum this will be allowed to stay here. I hope so.

If it gets deleted or if it gets moved I will cancel it. It is meant for the darksiders here.

Help me chose a title if you would.

There will most definetly be a winning prize. I am not sure what yet, it will involve silver, but in the giveaways I have done in the past most all seemed pleased.

I have been around here for quite a while, met so many great folks and learned so much. For that I thank you all old freinds.... totally.

Now help me chose a title.

I will let this run for a while, not sure how long and I hope you will give me some ideas.

I will right now, before i ever get a reply............thank you all very, very much.

Well, with how long you've been here and how many posts you've made, how about "NOT newbiecollector" or "No longer Newbie" or something along those lines?

I like the sound of "shipshape" but also trozau's idea!

  • I haven't had the pleasure of knowing/meeting you but judging by your posts, here's a few I came up with:

    'Ship Mate'

    'The Shipster'

    'Norwegian Boat Guy' (corny) lol

oh well, it was worth a shot...

    "Master and Commander"

    or
    "Tirunculus coactoris"

If my latin is correct, that would be " 'A young beginner' 'collector of money' " or "NewbieCollector". Someone more in the know might correct me on my us'es and is'es. image Latin is appropriate for a collector of world coins - it used to be the world's language, after all!

coactor -oris m. [a collector of money]
    tirunculus -i m. [a young beginner].

"Captain Coinage" has a nice ring to it.

  • Some great ideas all......keep them coming.

About the giveaway. I will do the following to try and be fair to everyone.

I will give something to the person who's suggestion I take and then put all others names who made suggestions in a hat and chose another winner. I think this would be more fair to everyone for helping me chose a title.

I have not come up with a decision on what the giveaways will be but I do not think you will be too disappointed.

How about a favorite type sailing ship? Your "new" handle could be any of the following...

Galleon like your avatar. Maybe Schooner? Just my 2 bits worth of Pirate Booty image

Congrats on being able to choose and I hope you find one you like and can relate to.

All is well, I do come here a few times a week to look in but hardly ever make myself known. Good luck with your title.
