Hey: Who is that "No Public Name" over there??? About time Dennis. The Registry has grown from 3 to 8 in the last week. Boy I was lonely for 4 Months.EDIT because I type Slower than.........
Ok,Ken, after much wadeing thru the mud and the muck...I have listed them in NGC....They are not the easiest to add, well a full set anyway.....it will be interesting to see how long this takes to get approved, and see what they do to my 16d (ag) and 42/1's both vf. I couldnt resist... Just having to much fun!
The Question now is,Where do we have our Mercury discussions or do we Jump Back and Forth between the Boards? Where's Mark? We need a Rule on this. Ray when Dennis's Dimes come on line I will customize My set so you can stay in the #3 spot. That is contingent on whether those other sets stay empty of Dimes. One set has been sitting empty for a Month or so. Probably 3 or 4 days Dennis. Now We Are REALLY going to have some FUN !!!!!!!!!!!
Constant running dialoge(SP??) going on now. People are JUMPING all over the place. Just called Dog names over at NGC. A little more loose over there. Sure like the "Whos On Line" that NGC has. Where's Al? He is the "No Public Name Guy"Edit because I CRS when typing a Post.
Yes: I do have some NGC Coins For Sale or are We sticking to PCGS coins. Myself its been PCGS for quite awhile. This is Not saying they are Better its just out of Necessity to "Stay up with the Menn's" to Coin a Newer term. Yuk....Yuk...... This also Gets the Thread back up where It Belongs
Enjoy your time over at NGC, but it is just too much work to play in two places at once. Given I have all PCGS coins at this point, I dont think I will be tempted to move over.
Retired United States Mint guy, now working on an Everyman Type Set.
Yup,that's me no public name goes to show how much i know about computers.O. Anyway i loaded up my Mercs Saturday and there still not showing up?.And not sure if i did that right
What the Crap is Going on ??????? Was just over at the NGC Registry and YOU Guys have Pushed Me Off the Front Page. Now that really Rips Me Off I'm Going on a Buying Spree Tonight and will fix you Guys once and for all. Kick Me while I'm down, Nice Buddies you guys are.Going Back over there NOW to take care of this Situation !!!!!!!!!!!! Take Care: Ken
Al: It Took Every Dime I have to Ace you out of the #1 Spot over there. Actually I found 4 that I have to Update but they will make little Difference. Your Next 67 you get will shove me down a notch. Big difference on how PCGS and NGC rates Sets. Take Care: KEN
Pleeeeeease Let Me Add a Coin. Bought the Coin Yesterday and Paided for it. (Check in Mail) Are You Guys going to Make Me Wait untill it gets to Its New Home?? Say NO Pleeeeease to the Waiting Part.Take Care: Ken
The fact you can't add the coin is a message from above... and I don't mean from the top floor of the NGC or PCGS buildings!! I think the deeper message is that you should send the coin to a deserving collector, mired in poverty, which, not coincidentally, is an accurate description of me!
Actually, were (are) you going to add the coin to your NGC or PCGS or both sets? I am not in love with adding coins to the NGC registry sets and, because I generally use the registry sets as an inventory, I haven't spent much time trying to figure out the process. In all of your opinions, is it worthwhile to figure out NGC's process?
Mark: The way that NGC has thier Weighting system set up has wrecked the Registry as far as I am concerned. Heck, any Moron can take a Blue Sheet or anyother Price Sheet and Weight a Series as well as they did. Rarity of a coin within the series has nothing to do with the Weighting. Price is the only thing that matters. I guess what I am trying to say is which of these 2 coins should be weighted higher. A 16D in lets say Good with a price of $300 to $400 and a Pop of a couple of hundred or a 28P in 65 with a price of $100 to $150 with a Pop of 20 or so. In my book the 28P should get more weight but in thier book the 16D is the one that they give the weight to. So in conclusion to answer your question" Don't Waste Your Time." This is coming from a Person that was Pro NGC before finding out how little work they actually put into thier Registries. I have a few NGC coins I will keep but for Registries purpose I am looking for Nice PCGS coins. Of course as Wishey Washey as I am if PCGS does not get the Registry Fixed so my coins can be entered by 2PM I might EDIT this and Go Back to being Pro NGC.Take Care: Ken
Dennis: You are not going to say the White one are you?? Look at the HUGE GASH at the Base Left Hand side of Her Neck. Probably Machine caused but quite a distraction. IMHO.
