Chris, Although your 1911 Canadian 25c. coin has been cleaned,it is actually quite a scarce coin.In fact,it is just as difficult to find as the 1911 50c. coins from both Canada & Newfoundland are.Yes,I am missing those 3 coins.I have the 1911 1c.,5c.,& 10c. coins so far.
The 1911 coinage from Canada is a very historic one,as there is no 'DEI GRA' or 'D.G.' in the King's titles. This coinage is called the 'Godless Coinage',so,due to complaints, the 'DEI GRA' was added in from 1912.The 1911 50c. from Newfoundland DOES have the 'DEI GRA' in the King's titles.
I was informed that 1 example of the 1911 Canadian 50c. coin DOES have the 'DEI GRA' obverse, but I don't know what it went for at the TOREX auction in the end.
