Here's some stats to cheer on the greatest choker in the history of major league baseball.

For the 2008 season Alexander Rodriguez has 1, yes that's 1 RBI in the 8th inning all year,
and ditto for the 9th inning. Yes, he has 1 total RBI this year in the 9th inning too.

He's hitting an awesome .200 in the 8th inning this year. However, let's not be too hard on the 250 million dollar man,
because he's batting .233 in the 9th inning.

So you've got a grand total of 2 RBI's in the 8th and 9th innings this year Alexander.

    This thread is stupid. Without A-Rod the Yankees are probably in last place. The lack of pitching is (obviously) what is killing the Yankees. Again, as bleak as it looks, I do not count them out until their elimination number is zero.

    Wow, what a Bosox Homer you must be! Boston wins a few World Series titles in 80 years and now they can bash the Yankees and one of the best players in the game. LMAO

    Please! Sox fans have been bashing the Yankees way before we won our recent World Series, and Yankee faithfull were doing the same thing to us even before 2004 which was uncalled for- at least the Sox had reasons to hate the Yankees. As far as Arod goes the Sox were trying to land him before he was a Yankee and NY stepped right in and swept him up to stick it to us, he hasnt helped them win a championship so we harp on that.

    Listen, you're not telling us anything we don't already know. The book on A-Rod is he's a choke artist. We Yankee fans have been screaming this to the world since '04. Last year was the only year he seemed to come thru in the clutch on a regular basis. Must be that damn kabala!!
