SF Giants are making the right moves

The Giants are re-building the right way -- they're getting strong up-the-middle. They already have a couple of young stud starting pitchers (my favorite is Tim Lincecum), they already have the NL's current Saves leader (Brian Wilson), and now they've landed a stud Catcher in Buster Posey to replace their aging catcher Bengie Molina. They still have some work to do with their middle infielders (they've been giving a few young guys a chance to show their stuff). The speedy Fred Lewis has played well for the Giants this year -- but I'm not sure his defensive skills will enable him to play center field.

All in all, it looks to me that the Giants might be looking good for the 2010 season.

I hear the all-time leader in career home runs is available; at the league minimum no less!
