OT.......Medals not coins

I posted here a while back that I was biding on an album with Franklin Mint Medals.

Well I received it and am very happy......with the album and the price.

I will post a link to the pics because they are LARGE.

Please let me know what you think

    Nice looking set Wayneimage
  • Thanks Boz. I was VERY surprised when I received the album. I had no idea it was so huge.

Each medal is 55mm and 24 carat gold plated and in a plastic container. There are empty containers for the remaining medals also included.

I will try and get a few pics of the individual medals later.....

I guess you can tell I am very pleased.......best $75 I have spent in a while for sureimage

There are a number of us here, you included, who collect exonumia (farside) material and it has always been accepted here...not with the zeal of coins perhaps, but accepted nonetheless. What I like about medals is the history attached to their creation. Learning? Aren't we all? image
  • farside

I like that.........and I have seen some of the medals people on here collect..........and they are amazing!

After rereading my first post I need to clarify to newbie that when I said 'title' I was talking about the thread title and not your title...
