Did he really open this from a pack 54 years ago??

Anyone buying this story? Sure is a pretty good selling price for a card that has been butchered at the hands of a trimmer.
Pack pulled in 54' ??

And yet another card from the same seller:

<< <i>Obvious trim job. Why would anybody even waste their money on the grading fees? >>
A. He was telling the truth and he didn't trim it and it came like that from the factory. Maybe he dosen't know about the whole trimming of cards thing?
OR
B. He figured to take a shot at the PSA graders and hope that they came to work drunk?

My thoughts exactly.

Q: are you joking? that card is not trimmed, it is whacked, hacked and hijacked! throw it in the next garbage can you see.
A: You are a real class act. I bought that card as a kid and sent it to PSA to be graded in good faith. It is not "hijacked" Do you want to see the PSA response on paper. Thanks for taking a very special memory of a person's childhood and stomping on it. Please do something else with your time than attempt to belittle a senior citizen's character. No, I am not joking. I am trying to make ends meet on Social Security. It is not "whacked, hacked and hijacked" - it, unfortunately for me, was graded "evidence of trimmed." I won't be "throwing it in the garbage" - I will be lamenting the fact that my wife will not be getting the medical care she needs because of it. Feel good about your comments? You are a cold, cruel and vicious person. I would at the least hope for an apology but that it appears is not part of your character. Do not write me again. I don't need that, go kick a dog or push someone in a wheelchair down the stairs.>>
Having said that , I know quite a few people that have sent cards in right out of the pack and when it came back trimmed they were like Impossible ! because they know damn well they didn't trim it .
Looking at that card , it is so hacked up, if it was trimmed whoever is doing that work better try their hand at something else .
Who knows what exactly is going on , on the other end of the PC , this world is so screwed up with so many looking to screw you in so many ways
i love the whining about social security and medical care. It may or may not be true, but honestly folks dont want stupid drama when bidding on your crap

"I am listing this as it is and not sending it to PSA for grading. The reason, as you can see from the picture, is that the card is way off center on the left. No white border at all. It would not be graded well at all - probably very minimal grade at best"

Yeah, that trimmed left edge would have no effect at all, now would it?
<< <i>It looks to me like a kid trimmed it with a pair of scissors. So I certainly think it's plausible that he trimmed it when he was a kid and simply doesn't remember after 50+ years. >>
That's a good point...
<< <i>Not sure if I belive him.

Wow...you sure are jaded for the new guy in town. Are you sure you haven't been here before, toastboy?
p.s. the Aaron listing was ended.
It's a shame he didn't take the respectable route and say something like, "I cut these down with scissors as a kid. Oops. Oh well."
Not that I'd buy any story from that seller anyway -- what sort of senior citizen that needs to scrap money for meds submits cards to PSA? Not just that, but in multiple submissions!
