Looking for avg sales over the last couple of months for wii fit

Dropped into my local target on Thursday and they just happened to have 2 wii fits in stock. Bought both but I wondering if it is more lucrative to hold on to......I figure the day after thanksgiving is the best time to sell and considering after 3 years nintendo still can't completely stock shelves on the wii, it may be more beneficial to hold on the fits for the holiday rush.

Anybody have the avg sales over the last couple of months?

Thanks.

Thanksgiving is still a ways away. You have plenty of time to flip and do it again by then.

  • Actually Christmas toys and things like that on Ebay are already starting to sell well and once most come out next month the boom will be on until about the second week of December. The week after Thanksgiving is ok but you are getting too close to Christmas and with the delays in shipping that time of year you have more buyers that are hesitant about buying and prices start to drop on many items. Remember some store will keep tons of stuff like that back just for Black Friday sales this could flood Ebay and drop prices even more.
  • My dad surprised us with one the other day. We never really asked for one, but he has always said that the second he sees one on shelf, he's buying it. Nice surprise.
  • Anybody have any specific sales avg's for the last couple of months?
  • Do a completed items search on Ebay. That is what anyone who tells you is going to have to do. Why should they do the work for you?

What was Target selling them for, and how much could you possibly make by holding them?
  • They are selling for around 120 to 145 delivered. Wal-mart sells them for 129.00

Based on that if you can afford to hold them do so and see where they go. If not take them back.
  • I bought both of mine for 93.65 including tax from target.

I looked on ebay for past sales but I was hoping to get a more detailed history than just a month's worth.

    You paid 94.00 for 2?

    47.00 each?

    or 94.00 each?

It is an 89.00 retail item, so I'm sure he meant each.

I actually bought one the day they came out, but shortly after realized how much I hated the Wii system and sold it. I never even used Wii Fit. So, I sold that last week on ebay, and got $128 delivered for it.

Wal-Mart's price is also the $89 and change. About $94 with tax. I bought mine about two and 1/2 months ago, and the whole family enjoys it. It really does work to help get you in shape and keeps you on track if you stick with it as you try to lose weight! Selling them at $130 dlvd doesn't seem like it's worth while if your trying to make money. After the shipping and fees associated, doesn't seem like the few dollars is worth all the effort....unless you can get your hands on a bunch of them, and that's not likely!
Sorry, I know that wasn't related to your question, but it's late and I ate too much so I'm kinda delirious!
  • The K Mart by my house has stacks of them at $89.99. Some weeks they go on sale for less. The K Mart website is out of them right now, but also sells them for $89.99.
  • was at best buy tonight; they had a ton of them.
