Jordan rookie restored:(

Well we had a topic about raw Jordans a few days ago. I bought this card in a complete set that I have had for a few years and decided to have the Jordan graded. I maybe one of the guys now who say buy only graded Jordans online. Came back colored edges. I should of took a loupe to it before but didn't. Here is a scan. I can't figure out how to blow up the scan but I believe the bottom left corner is the one. Heck it may be all four for all I know. I suck. image

All four corners look suspect to be honest with you. That really sucks.

Edit- You could still get it slabbed as authentic and probably get a couple hundred for it.

A black light would reveal if the corners/edges were re-colored. You can buy a cheap b.light for $20. That alone can save you thousands on grading fee's or mistake purchases.

    Sorry about your Jordan rc.

You have a raw set and it's a good looking raw card that you know is real, not a fake or a reprint. Just keep it with your raw set and enjoy it. If you decide you just can't stand having it, sell it to me and I'll enjoy having it.

Really there's so many fakes out there, your card looks nice. If you want to get rid of it PM me. It's better than the one I bought raw and came back counterfeit image

    bummer about the Jordan.

I've found that looking at cards under a flourescent light as opposed to a regular light bulb can allow you to see someone else's border improvements.

Will they slab those as 'authentic?'
