POP Report AUTH Question?

I was checking out the 1988 Maxx Set (Link). What does the Auth column mean? I thought it meant that it was a certified autograph but if you look at card 48, 76, 87 and 98 there are two rows for each. I am confused! Is there a difference between Auth and PSA/DNA?

Authentic means that it was graded as being an authentic card with no number grade. AU is generally used for Hand Cut cards, but there sure are a lot of AUs in this set (of which I'm not familiar with at all).

Are the cards of this set Hand Cuts? or is there any other rare characteristic about them?

This is the first Racing set available via wax and complete sets. There were hand cuts. No difference between them (Wax & Sets). I am guessing that these AUTH are autographed. They are cheap cards and no one in their right mind would get them authentic so the authentic has to be autographed.
