Yes, they are quickly getting me interested. I'm looking at 1/4 reales and 1/2 reales (early to mid 1800s) this afternoon, kind of as a curiosity. (which is how I get so many of my collecting directions, browsing and reading here on the boards)
Would these (Central American Reales) have circulated in the US early on? Is there a site with info on exactly which coins did circulate in the US pre-1850s?
