Sellers Who Drop Ship - Suggestion: PUT THAT IN THE DESCRIPTION!!!

So I just bought a case of cards from a seller on ebay because of their location and knowing I could have the case in a day. Then I find out it's a 5 day ship because he had it dropped shipped from another state.
Nowhere was this listed in the description. In fact, it says "our last case in stock."
It's very annoying to expect the arrival of an item on a certain day and then find out it's gonna take nearly an extra week, so please, if you sell on ebay and you "drop-ship" stuff - let the customer know that when they read the description of the item - or at the very least - don't specify a state in the "item location" line!

sounds like you should be emailing the seller and leaving some appropriate feedback

What did the seller say in the auction? link?
<< <i>I find it funny how we are all so different. To me that is such a trivial issue I would not even think to list it in the auction. It seems like as long as the guy didn't promise you a shipping time he hasn't done anything wrong. Plus, maybe it was his last one he could drop ship!? I don't know but to me I would certainly NOT leave a neutral or negative about it. >>
There you go. I agree^^. Personally, I think some folks just look for anything to beech about. Unless the seller states a specific date in the auction details, there is not any real reason to complain about 5 days to receive a case of cards.
I have many items recently take 10 to 15 days to be delivered with a travel distance of less than 300 miles.

Yes, I guess we are all so different. I bought from him specifically because the item location said New York. If it said Georgia, I would have bought it from someone else, even if it was going to cost me an extra $10 so I could have it this week and break it. The point is, I as a buyer was bothered by it and I find it hard to believe those who are excited to get a product they want to break and believe it will be a 1 day ship and then find out it's 5-6 wouldn't be disappointed.
I would certainly agree - he had no obligation to deliver it by a certain date. But is it that difficult to just simply say - "hey - I drop ship my items - so don't estimate the shipping time based on the item location I specified above."
<< <i>so are you making sure that if board members drop ship to put in the description.... ? sounds like you should be emailing the seller and leaving some appropriate feedback
I let him know. I was just ranting to the board
