Does Anyone Have A Realistic Value For What An O.J. Simpson

Does Anyone Have A Realistic Value For What An O.J. Simpson Pre-Murder Trial Wilson NFL Autographed Football PSA/DNA COA & LOA Included Is Worth?

I Have A Very Anxious Buyer Who Has Really Been At Me To Sell It To Him And I Can Not Find Any For Sale Anywhere That Are PSA Authenticated And Most Seem To Be No Name COA Type Items.

The Ball And Signature Are Mint To Gem Mint & I Acquired It From A Long Time Brown Family Friend And Business Associate.

Thanks,

Bill

I have no idea on the value, but your use of capital letters is fascinating.

    I didnt say I was a fan.

I don't even make screwdrivers any more because they require OJ.

I just own two near identical footballs that were part of a fairly large lot of mostly very nice and obsure items which were all signed by entertainment and sports figures. The majority of the memorabilia was from people like Namath, Lew Alcindor, Bruce Leem Roy Rogers, Bob Hope, The Marx Brothers, John McEnroe, Carrol Shelby etc... When he retired in was just about the OJ Trial time and the balls and some other items were part of the deal so theyve been sitting in my safe for years.

Personally if anyone should benefit/profit from OJ's celebrity it should be anyone but OJ! Since I have had them stored I deserve to be reimbursed for the storage fees!

I'm not an expert by any means, but I don't think "pre-murder trial, post murder trial" has anything to do with the value of the ball. I say a buck-one-fitty.

Typically, such things can have a major impact. Take Michael Vick, he is not selling at 10% what he was selling at. OJ, his autographs were really high around trial as everyone thought he would go to jail and then maybe no longer sign.

OJ signed cards now go for around $20. Common HOF autos are around $5 while bigger names like Unitas sell for around $30-40. This is pretty much where he was at in price level after the older retired golfer OJ and before the trial. eBay could get a good ideal on the football I imagine, but I would guess around $80-100.

    Mark -

What I was getting at is I don't think the time period in which the item was signed (pre/post murder trial) will have anything to do with it's value.
  • I will give you $40 for it so I can make a youtube video of me peeing on it. Maybe we could start a thread similar to the Chuck Knoblauch thread. We could mail it to each other and we could all make videos of us peeing on it.
  • Good Morning,
Besides having to live with that visual now....I don't have any radiactive gloves that I would need to handle that ball after you have sent it to Lee and a few others from these boards !!!!!!image
