BBCE Package arrived today

Bought a few racks and wax packs that I'm going to rip somewhat soon (I'll post them in this thread in the next day or so). '78 Topps Rack, '79 Topps Rack, '85 Fleer Rack, etc.
Everything arrived in great shape, and I had asked them to please choose the '76 Topps and '85 Topps Traded wax packs carefully, as they are going to be sent in to be graded. They arrived in tip top shape.
Also, my '84 Topps Rack had a super nice looking Strawberry rookie on the front. I know it's not a high dollar card, but that's something almost no one does these days (sends out ordered rack packss with stars on the front). Thanks BBCE!!
Rips coming soon!

I got a football rack with a Cherry on top
I did pull an Aikman rookie out of a pack of the 1989 Score though so that was cool.

When these came out back in 1989 (obviously), I bought 6 boxes at Sams Club for $12 a piece (Boy did I get jobbed) and 2 of the boxes had that exact collation pattern on them. Same colors in all packs, no "rated rookies" in the entire box. The reason they looked perfectly resealed is because they were the original factory seal. I am 99.9% sure these are genuine packs.
Think about it, if you were going to reseal packs, would you take the time to sort out the cards by color?
<< <i>..... And would you take the time to do it with 89 Donruss???? >>
That's a great point! hahaha
Hurry up and get your scanner hot -- I want to see your package!

yeah, that kinda scared me - and scarred me.
<< <i>I received a package from them yesterday. I bought some junk: two boxes of 1989 Donruss, a box of hi # 1989 Upper Deck, and a couple packs of '89 Score Football. I wanted to pull some Griffeys, but I got shut out. The Donruss is only like $9 a box, but the first one was totally a reseal job (the packs were sealed well so I wouldn't have expected BBC to catch it) . . . all the cards in the packs were of the same color, not collated like they normally are, and there were ZERO purple cards in the entire box which means that not only did I not receive a Griffey, but I didn't get a Johnson, Sheffield, or even a Schilling.

shouldnt the "top" seller of wax be able to spot that?
what happens if he missed the 1975 mini box being resealed?
do they do grading for PSA?
This isnt meant as a defense of BBCE, just a point of fact. Those 89 Donruss had runs like that and for whatever reason, none of the rated rookie cards were inserted. Theres no way of telling which run it was, but I would imagine that the case it came from had the rest just like it as well.

But yet you continue to debate it on the other BBCE thread? Not to mention that you are taking the opposite stance on the other thread.
$10 garbage box vs. $100+ UD box, which by the way is much easier to search than taking the time to open and reseal wax packs.
<< <i>As previously mentioned in this thread, who in the world would take the time and effort to search a box of 89 Donruss??? A box that can be had ANYWHERE for about $10. Nice raw Griffeys can be had anywhere for about $5.

No reason they would be resealed today, but back in the day I am sure many '89 Donruss boxes were resealed.
