    yes he does...let's just say I'm not looking forward to the Paul Byrd era in Boston....things are getting bleak with the #4 and #5 starters.

    Byrd has been pitching great his last four starts. If it continues the Red Sox made a good deal from what I see.....and I'm an Indians fan.

    Is Paul Byrd really the best available pitcher? Okay, so he's won 4 games since the All-Star break, that's good. But wouldn't that make him 3-10 before the break then? That's not good.

    I took a flyer and picked him up last weekend when Wakefield whent on the DL. He's pitched lights out the last month, hopefully we can keep it going a few more weeks as I head to the postseason in my league.

    Byrd is a servicable starter, are they still letting him take HGH? they should for guys like him
  • he doesnt issue a lot of walks and will eat innings; he also worked with Bert Blylevn over the break on his curveball image

    seems to be paying off in recent starts.
