Just picked up a huge collection. SCANS ADDED of 1969 Topps.

Just when I think I'm out, I'm sucked back in. Local guy I know had over 12,000 cards from 56-79, about 8000 of which are 50's and 60's. 56, 58, 65-69 mainly. Some of the 65 and 66's are incredible, same with 69's. Most stars are not as nice (but still very presentable), all raw. Same with the 56's.

I'll be selling most of these, and will be posting them on the board soon.

Sweet mother of all that is good. I went through the first 100 cards last night in the 65 set, and pulled 61 that I thought were 8 or 9 quality. I have to scan these cards for y'all. I think the original owner either kept the stars or sold them off earlier, but the commons and minors are awesome. I wish I were home today so I could keep going through them.

I do some consignment work. This is a hybrid consignment deal, really. I get the collection and promise him a guaranteed amount once it's all sold. I get the remainder above that amount and keep any cards left over that I want. The risk is I won't generate the guaranteed amount and will have to pay the difference out of pocket, but the upside is I paid nothing out of pocket and get to keep some stuff if I want.

Here are a few HOF'ers and some tough Yankees from the '69 near complete set. Like they came out of the pack. Unreal. Many are off center, but the corners on these cards are blazing almost across the board. I just wish the big cards had been in the set, but hey it's hard to complain.
