    It has indeed!

Somebody had to come up with a name for that look. This is the first use of it I have seen on eBay, but shouldn't be surprising, as that dealer is a forum member, and one I have praised for his nice CircCams before. image

If your catch phrases get popular enough, maybe you should start charging royalties. image

Maybe the term would really catch on if I wrote a short article for The Numismatist, with two or three pictures of good examples, eh? image

There would be no faster way to ensure that a catchy phrase would NOT catch on! image

I hereby give the numismatic world the "CircCam" term for free. The little "TM" trademark symbol sometimes posted after it is purely whimsical. The more people who use it and start to view it as a premium quality to seek in coins, the prouder I will be.

Ironically, I don't own very many CircCam coins myself. But you can be sure I look out for them. Many folks have been doing so all along, obviously, but just didn't have a catchy name to call 'em. image
