Cheerios

We all know about the "Cheerios Sacagawea Dollar", but what about the poor Lincoln cent?
Was there ever anything found that seperated it from the later coins produced by the mint?
Seems there would at least be a variety # for being a first strike coin.
Seems big daddy, (er Big Momma Sac) got all the glory....

I have been pushing for the cheerios cents to be recognized as a first strike for sometime. No luck.
I believe at the moment PCGS attributes them as "minor varieties".

Thats a shame, if any coins are to have the first strike label it should be those.
Oh well maybe a thousand years from now they will get it right.
