Backless cards question

I have a 1982 Topps K Mart Complete set. Every card is backless.

I also have a lot of 10 or 20 1984 Topps Football that are backless.

Is there any significant value to either of these? I just got the football cards. I have had the K Mart cards for a while. I have searched Ebay several times and have never found any.

cards with no backs are simply printing errors. There are a handful of collectors out there who love to buy that kind of stuff.

As far as significant value, they would be like anything else....worth as much as someone wanted to pay for them.

If you put that Kmart set on Ebay, it might not get one single bid, or it might go for $20-$30 if there are two oddball/variation collectors who see it and want it.

    Shane,

I don't think they carry a premium but there are collectors out there that specialize in blank-backs/errors etc.

Sometimes the top players of the sets might do well if individually sold, like the 82 K-Mart Mickey Mantle card, or the 84 Elway RC if you happen to have that one.

Not sure what condition your cards are in, but I've seen a few PSA 10 odd balls that have sold for better-than-average prices.

Hopefully a more guys will respond to this thread that have experience with the blank-banks.

    Good luck!
