Funny that this one would get a half point grade. I've sent a couple in to PSA with slightly better centering than this one and no half grades were granted.
He's asking for a PSA 7 price (probably trying to recoup his $1500 eBay/PayPal fees), which I don't think he's going to get, but you never know.
The color and registration is as described .... nice card!

this can only be paid with an echeck through paypal ,$5 and the ebay fee is about $350. total selling cost is about 1.1%. beats any auction house if he gets a taker.

Hi packCollector,
I must be missing something here ....
Could you elaborate on the eCheck only and how you came up with 1.1%??
sorry 1.6% , it used to be 1 % over 1000 but it is now 1.5%. at that amount , the only type of paypal payment you can make is an echeck which costs $5 so the $1000 in paypal fees is not applicable. you can not send an instant payment or use a credit card which is where you would incure the 2.9% paypal fee
I love the shipping costs... "One card shipped anywhere in the U. S. for $3.00 First Class bubble envelope"
If that were my card I just sold for over $32,000, I'd want to probably be a little safer than dropping it in a bubble envelope and putting a stamp on it.
The seller does offer a priority shipping rate also. I think it goes without saying that if you didn't pick this card in person you would want the card to go not as regular first class mail.
I've seen plenty of [pictures] of 1952 Topps Mantles in my lifetime (just one (1) in person though), but for some reason, this one is particularly mesmerizing ... in a good way. I don't quite have the coin to pay for the card as I have a wedding to pay for (yes, I am fronting the cost for the better part of my own wedding), but a $300.00 plane ticket to Texas and a $30,000.00 cashiers check/money order in hand and I bet there's a better than 50/50 chance the seller would accept.

P.S. Of course, that's assuming the seller agrees to an in person meeting and, if not, that would be a tell-tale sign.

In a face-to-face, about $23K cash in a cigar box would likely take the card from the owner.
I suspect the subject card has been consigned by a friend.
Folks Who Bite Get Bitten. Folks Who Don't Bite Get Eaten.
At first look this looks sweet. I haven't seen that many of these but something caught my eye. I think this is a doctored photo. The bat looks too yellow compared to the end of the bat. Looks like two different colors. Some of the big guys who deal with these all the time should be able to tell for sure. Just my 2 cents.

Unless of course it had NM attributes elsewhere and that brought it down to 6.5.

If me, no I can't.
