  • hmmm, just one side of each coin..but the first one appears to be a mid 1700's coin of Belgium (a copper liard). The second coin appears to be a 1600's copper liard of France, probably struck under Louis 14.
  • The first coin is a 1750 liard from the bishopric of Liege, Belgium. It is fairly common.

Coachleonard is right about the second coin - however if you post the obverse we can determine if this is a royal issue or if it was issued locally by one of the French states.

Must be, because I have one just about identical!

Post the other side of the French coin.

Here are the other sides of both coins: The French coin is a little rough.

Coachleonard and Madmuffin, thank you for the information. I do sincerely appreciate all of you for aking the time to answer. I know the coins are not valuable, but I just could not find them in any of my catalogs. I apologize for not showing both sides of the coins the first go around. Just in a hurry to get them posted.
