Help in selling baseball cards

I am a collector of coins, but a friend of mine needs to sell his collection of ~400 baseball cards from the 60's through 80's. Different conditions, he does not think there are any great rarities there. He asked me to determine the best way to sell them and I agreed to ask here. He is in NY and has an aversion for eBay. Would rather go to a show or fair dealer in the area. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Post what he has for sale, with pictures, on the CU Buy, Sell and Trade Message Board and I'm sure he'll get a few nibbles.

If I were your friend I would go to this baseball card show and speak to Jim Ryan from JPs Sports. He is very fair, and a gentleman.
