High priced cards from Canada

Anyone ever receive a high priced card from Canada (i.e. > $1500)? If so, how does the customs declaration work and its potential effect on taxes in the USA (if any?)

Thanks

I've won many high priced Mantle's, mostly Canadian versions up to $3000, from Canada and have never paid anything extra, like taxes or whatever.

Never had a problem coming from Canada, shipping to Canada is such a hassle (taxes, and buyers not wanting to pay them and requesting bogus values) that I stopped selling there unless they have a US address.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
