Jsa "Stamp of Approval" Anyone ever use it ?
Anyone ever use the James Spence "Stamp of Approval " for authenticating autographs ? Seems like a decent deal. They put the James Spence stamp or sticker on the back of your card for $4 bucks. I have a lot of cards that just wouldnt justify a Loa fee of $20 to $30 bucks.

even inexpensive cards.
BUT, it seems like a reasonable-price alternative.

I seem to remember that they went undercover with hidden cameras at a show and bought some 8x10 photos of one of the players who would be sigining autos that day and they went out to their news van, videotaped the reporter signing them and she went in and had them authenticated. They spent all of about 5 seconds looking at each one and giving either a stamp or certificate guaranteeing the authenticity of the autos. Later when questioned about the incident, they said that it was an "error" and that isnt their usual policy.
One has to wonder, if this was JSA, how many autos have been done the same way especially with their partnering with Beckett
<< <i>Wasnt JSA the one that the reporter had "exposed" on a news report about authenticating fraudulent autos?

Do they provide a scan with the number, or what would prevent someone taking a sticker off a real auto and put it on a fake?

Isn't it one of those stickers that gets destroyed whenever it is tampered with?
