Thoughts on Black Rawlings Baseball Autographs

Guys, what are your thoughts on the black rawlings baseballs? They are quite hard to find right now, but I have been lucky enough to find a bunch and I have been working to get MLB HOF players to sign them in a very fine silver sharpie pen.
I've attached a picture so you can see. I am trying to find out how long it will hold up for, if its more of a collector thing or if these have value more than the normal MLB ball that everyone has signed.

They do make striking display items though.
Take care,
Mike
They do look awesome though!
<< <i>Personally, the look of them with the silver autographs looks great if the player takes his time and the silver is thin enough. That being said, I think in the future, that the standard MLB signed balls will have more of a value to them then the black baseballs. I see the majority of the collectors wanting the official item used in games rather than a variant of that.

If I were an Oakland A's fan though, I'd like to get some of those orange baseballs that Charlie Finley tried to use in the 1970's, and have them autographed by the A's stars. Those were cool
