NewP's guess what these German State coins will grade.

I finally found a decent Bavarian Ludwig II Madonna Thaler- 1871.
I am hoping this one when submitted will grade at least 55 with a shot at 58? (black and white sellers pics)

Here's another Prussian 1888a Friedrich 2 Mark. It was advertised at Stempelglanz so I am hoping 63 with a shot at 64?? (sorry, I wish I had better pics)

Thanks,

The blue-ish mark in front of the face is a cleaning mark as it is totally different from the periphery color.
Edit: the same mark is there at the back of the head.

What about the Madonna? Seller swears the surfaces are original and it has nice toning.
Thanks guys!

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
The 2 Mark, which I have seen quite a few of, I think will get body bagged because of a cleaning in trying to remove some tape residue. It seems to show itself in a reverse color image that I blew up.
Cleaned coins are not all bad in my book. I own some cleaned coins and I am still exhalted and take pride in owning them. TPGS's and sets restricting cleaned or damaged coins is just too bad for the masses as some collections will never be complete as many coins known ONLY in museums have been holed or cleaned. I will take a cleaned coin to fill a void in my collection that I would otherwise never be able to afford to complete in my lifetime. Try and find a collector of Mercury dimes who needs a 1916-D that even with a fairly large mintage (compared to many darkside coins) who would turn one down because it was cleaned. I think most would take a cleaned coin just to be able to fill a void in an otherwise completed collection that most ordinary collectors would never be able to afford.
Wow did I go off on a tangent... But now you have my two cents worth

Here is another one I have that I took pics of this morning. I am still learning to use my camera so hopefully they will come out allright. It is not graded:
As far as the Madonna goes, I will wait to see it in hand.
Thank you all for your honest opinions!

Wow, I suppose the pics just don't do that coin justice. Is that the highest graded one out there?
Looks like I need to invest in a copy stand so I can get the lighting adjusted properly and mess around with my camera settings a bit more.
At least the camera I bought I think is decent, it's a Canon S51S and it has super macro setting as well as 12X zoom so the lens is pretty versatile.
Soon as I get all this set up and start taking some decent pics, I'll have to post up some of my more decent German coins...

Thanks. This one really must be seen in hand, or at least shot by a competent photographer. Last time I checked, there was just this one 68 at PCGS with none higher. There were also 5 in MS67 (I have 3 of them). I also have some PCGS & NGC MS66s and a (undergraded IMO) MS65. I think we should remember that many fine world coins will never see a slab, so we must take pop reports with a grain of salt. -Preussen
Here's the reverse, this coin would have possibly graded 64 otherwise.
I will still enjoy this piece of history as it is.
