I've got a duplicate Claudius II Gothicus (268-270 AD) Roman coin in my set.

    It's a posthumous issue.

AE antoninianus, RIC-266. Obverse: DIVO CLAVDIO, radiate head right. Reverse: CONSECRATIO, eagle.

I don't have a picture of it, but here are some other examples of the same type. Mine is slightly lower grade than most of them in the pictures, but not by much. It's struck on a smallish flan, so some of the obverse lettering is off the flan.

    Eight bucks buys it.

I recently discovered a nice place for cheap Roman coins. It's bargainbinancients.com, where everything is $30 or less. Enjoy! They didn't have anything I needed for my Roman set, but I did manage to make a nice upgrade for $22.

If you're into Roman coins, come join us on the Darkside (the World Coin forum) sometime. There aren't too many of us there, but a few, including some dealers. I'm always happy to come across somebody who's enthusiastic about Roman coins like I am.
